Another dark and dingy day. When will this yucky winter finish....!!! longing for some fresh spring days... Anyways enough of the winter duldrums. This fabulous couple braved the elements and we got some pretty wicked shots despite. Really looking forward to there wedding at my local haunt "Heritage Valley". It should be a fun one!!!!!
Amidst a bleak and cold winter came a bright spot on this day. Josh & Jill said there "I Do's" at Trinity Reformed Church in Abbotsford. It was far tooo cold to go outside and also it was rainy and dark ( gotta love those winter days!!!). We managed to scrape through a few images in our studio before completing the rest inside the church. Congrats guys.
Heres a few shots i attempted to get during a Live performance of the current Gallery 7 event. The guys and gals were brilliant and the set looked absolutley wicked. These Gallery 7 folks really know how to nail a performance. My impossible attempt of photography from the bleachers in a totally dark theatre with no flash allowed can be seen above...... except for the B&W Film images which seemed to work out fine. Good old film!!!!!
Also i learned of a new phenmenon called the "Red Hat Ladies". Being a relatively new comer to these parts i guess it makes sense that i wouldnt have heard of them before but i snapped a shot of them before the performance. I am sure i will come across them again. Perhaps i should google them to learn more.......
A couple who I had the pleasure of shooting recently. Was a freezing cold, early morning shoot with water logged grass. What more do you expect in B.C. in January!!!!!! We all braved the elements and ended up shooting some stuff in the studio as well. Cant wait to shoot there wedding in May.
