Time for a break?
Terrifically bad at updating....Here are some personal shots from Easter time @ Bethel Reformed Church
Portraits; The Tochers
Kind of a Maternity/ Portrait/ Experimental type shoot with one of my favourite families. We ventured out in the early evening with some pretty menacing looking clouds, and me with a sniffly nose! All in all it worked out pretty good. Had some fun with different lighting ideas!

Portrait: McKone & Norwex
My neighbours took the long flight over from their house, two doors down, the other day for a few family pics and some head shots for Tracey's Norwex website. After much eye closing and funny faces I managed to sneak a few goodies out of the bunch!

Another Lucky Find!!!
Once again I located some forgotten Images I had left on a Roll of film from one of my trusty Film cameras!!! It was a slide film, but not remembering exactly what I shot on it, and knowing the type of film it was I assumed I would have intended that film to be good for Cross-Processing...... Anyways, here is a few of the real winners from the roll. I guess i should get with the times and shoot only digital, right?? hahahahaha

"The Decisive Moment"- Henri Cartier-Bresson ( Photographer)
Just thought I would add this little snippet about one of the amazing photographers that I once studied back in the good old days. A friend of mines Blog is titled "The Decisive Moment". It just inspired to add a little entry about him and a few of his pics which can be seen here @ Magnum Photos
This is his definitive Quote:
"The simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event as well as the precise organization of forms which gives that event its proper expression... . In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject. The little human detail can become a leitmotif." — Henri Cartier-Bresson
His first Camera, was nothing like as convenient as the currrent cameras we are all lucky enough to be using. He did it all in a manual capacity and with such accuracy.
"Cartier-Bresson exclusively used Leica 35 mm rangefinder cameras equipped with normal 50 mm lenses or occasionally a wide-angle for landscapes. He often wrapped black tape around the camera's chrome body to make it less conspicuous. With fast black and white films and sharp lenses, he was able to photograph almost by stealth to capture the events".
Anyways you can read his Biography if you like!

Random images lying around on Random Memory Cards
So I was checking through a stack of my Compact Flash Memory Cards and came across a bunch of recent and ancient images... just thought I would post some of the nice finds! Looks like some were back in the fall and some are from our recent Vancouver Aquarium visit for Ellie's birthday! Probably going to find some more but this will do for now!
