I wasn't expecting much for this months entries. It was kind of a last minute rush to get them entered. They are images I wanted to submit but may have fared up better with a non-Capa adjudicator. (this just in, here's the Judges
Website.) All images were shot the Nikon 1 V1.

No surprises that I didn't do well with this. I like the feel of it though.

I had thought this might score a little better, was wonderfully challenging to shoot this one. Wind, sunlight and the lens was touching the flower... So many things going against me I thought I got a very pleasing capture. I don't think it displayed well on the projector. I imagine I was knocked down heavily due to the large white areas with no obvious detail in the petals. That or I just suck!

My final effort for the evening. One from my growing bridge archives. This shot pleases me greatly. I enjoy the colour and the positioning. Two man-made objects that have and will stand the test of time.

I'm not sure why these would have scored poorly. When I avaluate images composition trumps all other considerations. I believe theses are compositionly strong.
Its OK. I enjoyed my entries, maybe someone in the crowd did also.
